Albert Gonsalves for soccer training in Brazil

School footballer Albert Gonsalves was selected through the Coca-Cola organised "Grassroots talent hunt" and included in a group of 16 Indian school footballers to train at the Brazilian Football Academy in Rio de Janeiro.

The players were selected from among 3,000 footballers who participated in an all-India tournament held across eight cities. The Indians would be among 312 players from 26 countries who would be undergoing a week-long training camp at BFA from July 7 to 12, 2008. Former Indian international Jo Paul Ancheri would accompany the players as coach. The training at BFA, will be supervised by former Brazil national coach Carlos Alberto Pereira, who is the technical director of the Academy.
